Make stopovers at the Equator to purchase souvenirs, take photographs, and then have lunch break in Mbarara. Proceed to the majestic forest, which is home to mountain gorillas and other primate species. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation in Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi forest

After breakfast, depart with lunch boxes and drive directly to the headquarters. Here, you will meet other trekkers and receive a briefing on gorilla trekking. Later, under the direction of park ranger guides who are well-informed and knowledgeable about these gorillas, you will commence trekking. Depending on the movement of mountain gorillas at that moment, trekking could last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours.

You are advised to carry bottled water, sunglasses, raincoats, headwear, and sturdy footwear. You will only be permitted one hour with the gorillas. Return to your hotel and unwind. Evenings can be spent relaxing at the lodge or exploring the Batwa community, where you will learn many things about their culture and customs.
