5 Days Kenya Savannah Safari : A classical African safari that takes you closer to the “Big Five”. If you are looking for an enriching wildlife viewing experience, then Amboseli and Tsavo are the places to visit. Amboseli swamp and Mzima Springs, the two oases inside Amboseli and Tsavo West National Parks, provide a natural attraction to large and varied wildlife populations in this largely dry bush country.

Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli

From Nairobi, drive south for 3-4 hours to Amboseli National Park. Lunch, then afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Amboseli

Whole day of game drives in the park with packed lunch. With its backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest mountain) and the abundant wildlife, Amboseli is a real spectacle. This is where you can see large herds of elephants and plains game, giraffes, gazelles, lions, leopards etc. roaming the plains. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Tsavo West

Morning game drive as we exit the park. After exiting, drive across the great lava flow of Mt Kilimanjaro and the chyulu Hills to Tsavo West National Park. Lunch, then afternoon game drive. Dinner and camp overnight.

Day 4: Tsavo West

Whole day of game drives at Tsavo West with Lunch. Tsavo is Kenya’s largest park and is famous for its large herds of elephants. Visit Mzima Springs where from an underwater observation tank it is possible to see submerged hippo, crocodiles and fish on the floor of the springs. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Nairobi

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi.
